  2. Congratulations on your new personal best bass.
  3. Time on the water is worth more than getting swimbait advice from somebody trying to sell you a swimbait. With time you will figure out which lures work best for the places you fish. Some here do like collecting swimbaits and that is great for them but I rather save that money for another out of state fishing trip.

  12. I am not surprised that some greedy rich old man does not want people to fish near his house. I will also not be surprised if he also happens to be some old man that is from the north and decided to retire in your area. We have the same problem in South Florida where these old northerners buy houses and make it illegal to fish lakes that use to be legal to fish. These same northerners drive terribly and bring many of their nasty northern behaviors down here. With that said contact your states fisheries department and mayor to see if you can legally fish this cove. Get the permission in writing so you can defend yourself if needed.
  13. Congratulations on your new personal best bass.
  14. Nice redfish and spotted seatrout you caught on swimbaits.
  15. LOL I have never seen a frozen lake in person and I am use to fishing in 45-95 degree weather surrounded by palm trees and mostly sunny skies. Only saw snow once and it was barely falling. It does rain often which is a good thing since it keeps the trees green and healthy. Almost any freshwater body of water down here has 5 pound or better bass and you can catch 8 pound or better bass every year if you put in your time well. Saltwater fishing is very good as well. That is one of the many reasons why so many snowbirds eventually move down to Florida and I cannot blame them since Florida has the best overall fishing opportunities in the USA.
