I used to have a helix 8 msi+ and it was killer for the yak, the side scan and the down imaging were killer but honestly you can live without the downscan. i went to lowrance after and had two hds 9 lives after and those are great as well but the mapping is better on humminbird but i went Lowrance because i was used to active target, the elite would be a good option for kayaks as well if you can find a decently priced elite or hds i have a 3 in 1 transducer that i will let go cheap as well

Looking to move a few of my mint Calcutta TEs 1 . 400te as cherry as it gets new drags studio composite 106mm handle (maybe 102) 400$ shipped and insured 450$ with a 100mm varial with jknob fats instead of studio composite 2 . 300TE few minor scuffs serviced and fresh drags will come with stock handle and a 110 mm gomexus 300$ shipped and insured I also have a 100gt TE as well if you’re looking for a light crank reel 250$ Been sitting on these gems for a while but I find myself hunting more than fishing now, hit me with any questions thanks

pink is punk ish gets extra bit too, but its cool to not fish a proven color and get offended by it instead hahahaha

i know its on the upper end of the spectrum but ive had a old town autopilot 136 for a few years now. same width as a hobie pa 14, extremely stable and easy to fish out of. comes factory with a minn kota 45 thrust trolling motor with spotlock. ive built mine out for tournament fishing with a pair of hds9 and active target and its a killer rig registration is 27 dollars a year so youll survive but if youre going the pedal route im a big fan of the pdl 106 and 120 from old town!

good chance its your pinion bearing under your studs with the springs. I end up fixing them pretty regularly and that's usually the issue
