  1. Dude's legit and a cool cat. Sick bait, too...
  2. It isn't. Take some pictures, take some measurements, put it back.
  3. That would be the 'Strong' version. I've got a couple of them. Love everything about them. Not cheap but worth it.
  4. Please don't share this story ever again. The idea is barbaric. The act is heartless. I understand just a kid and all, times were different, but now seed is sewn for another to do the same modern day. That ain't cool. Please take no offense. To others; all fish eat things that appear edible when they're hungry, majority of duckling do not survive predation.
  5. Hmm... Never heard of tracking say delivered and it actually not be delivered. Wow... For me it's been some chump five finger it off the porch. More than once. These days if it's too big to fit in the mailbox I request signature delivery required. It only cost a couple bucks and there can be no mistake. I won't send anything without it either. It's worth it. Yeah, to OP, get on it asap. Maybe you'll get lucky. If you paid by credit card then call them before anything else and dispute the payment. Let them look into it for you. On a side note, once again, another great reason not to PPG anything if that's the method. If you gifted payment then you're ass out. Good luck.
  6. Site says they currently have 3+ righty in stock. It's the lefty sold out.
  7. Hmmm... I suppose all I could offer is what I would buy myself. So, top hook(s) would be a must. As mentioned with regard to 'traditional' movement, I'd only buy something much different. Forget a lip, forget a joint, focus on the legs. Enticing paddle legs. That's the key.
  8. Well, it's my take here in NorCal our best TW bite is first or last light. Midday seek shade. That's the formula.
  9. Wow. That's taking it to a whole new level right there... I have no insight to offer other than recognition and awe. Largest I own is 14.4 as I recall weighing and only recently found gear capable of throwing it. In truth I'm scared of the weight, I like my shoulder the way it is. You must have balls of tungsten carbide, brother. Damm. I'll be following this thread. Best wishes.
  10. Isn't THAT the truth... Insofar as braid reducing durability, an argument can be made for such to a point. You've got to run the drag loose to save the drivetrain. Roughly 1-2lbs beyond what it takes to not slip during cast is about right and serves as a safety net. Shock leader tends to assist hookup, of course, also adding a layer of safety. Personally, I run the smallest reel I can get away with. Setup can be tricky, I agree, but it can be done. Couple months back I spent the day chucking roughly up to 6.5oz with a LIN. No problem. And it was fun.
  11. Well shaatahhh... there are indeed blinkers now aren't there? I could well be wrong then. It's happened before, I admit it. Perhaps what we see becomes a de facto trailer I guess? Still would figure it needs to be registered somehow though. Is there a small license plate riveted somewhere? Effectively a floating trailer with removable wheels that just happens to have an outboard on it? Crazy, man. Peace.
  12. Hell no. That is a transport, not a trailer. A trailer must be registered with DMV, which can be done with inspection, but that ain't it. DOT approved tires, full lighting including brake, turn, etc. Not to mention insurance, of which you currently have none dragging that around. I'd venture grounds for claim denial of any kind, including loss of liability, they'll look for ways to deny and this is it. Don't do that.
  13. I know of a sunken double decker houseboat!! Once seen a big ass tree with root wad the size of a VW Bug inches under the surface. Oh, and the sandbars? Damn things change location all the time. It can be dangerous. Went out last month and found the roughest water I'd ever seen, didn't catch ish. Just brutal.
  14. I don't know... he did leave out 'bait term' FS = Fast Sink But, pretty impressive. Good job, kid.
  15. The reason is visibility within brown mudline. They can see it. Typically not the best open water color in my experience, which can change dramatically day to day depending upon a variety of reasons, but in and out of the mudline or on bottom it's usually a can't miss. Wikipedia - Brown is composite color made combining red, yellow, black or red, yellow, blue.
  16. Hmm... if you're correct then a new ignition cylinder should solve the issue. I don't think I would attempt disassembly, no sense in it really, they're cheap to swap. Probably best follow prior post suggestion beforehand though. Good luck.
  17. Far from difficult to have multiple bay profiles. Not to mention zero commission promos from time to time. No way that bid is legit.
  18. You guys crack me up!! Should be one of the better SB's of recent time, lots of offense, lots of big hits. Yes, I've got a cool grand riding this game, but what I see here is bound to create conflict. If mods don't mind, which they shouldn't, the rest of us will once dudes start sounding off how they got screwed. I suggest tread lightly.
  19. I log private because that's my preference. Not just this site, either. If the option didn't exists then I wouldn't be able to do it. But it does exist, so I do it. And I'm far from alone I'm quite sure. For what it's worth, moderators know who logs when no matter private or not. There is no getting around security this way, if per chance that is someone’s intent. Username and password are active whether it's seen publicly or not.
  20. It doesn't get much worse than a thief. It does, but not much. Sorry for your troubles. It ain't right. I'm sounding off to announce this bums entire personal information, name, number, full mailing address. Everything you got. If it's just a username provided then he'll create a new username, it changes nothing. Do not feel shame, you deserve none, and could serve as savior to certain future victims. You have to fight dirty to win a dirty fight. Do it. Your baits are gone. Going to police won't do anything other than waste your time. You sent him those baits of your own accord. You assumed the risk. Allow me to share a brief story; my mom years back lent her vehicle to an individual she was trying to help. He was to eventually buy it, she trusted him, as they had a working relationship over some period of time. Police could do nothing because it was not stolen. She gave him the keys and there was nothing they could do about it. She also had to continue paying registration and insurance or pay fines associated while assuming liability in event of an accident. Yeah, if you can believe that... Roughly two and a half years this went on until the bum showed back up in town one day and a family friend noticed it. Lucky us she had an extra key... we simply went and took it back. Future reference to all would be do gooders out there: set your terms in writing. Digital is fine, just make it clear and concise. Want to let someone play with your baits? That's fine, but spell it out to exact compensation, due on exact date, in exact venue. Such as, back by xxx date, or $$$ on this date, or court in 'I got your azz county'. Failing that you have little to no legal recourse. Also, I've noted this site is keen to helping hand, maybe spell out exactly which baits you had taken, I've got something with your name on it for you. It's not charity, it's right vs wrong. Best wishes.
  21. Hmmm.... maybe I'll have to hit this as well... Been nearly a decade since last Cal Expo. I'll try to swing it.
  22. You found it like that? With no hooks?
