i just picked up an Okuma Concept C3-40x rod in the xxh version from tackle warehouse that they have on sale, i got it during their christmas sale for 97$, and so far seems like a steal for the price and versatility. maybe look at that option too. Though building your own rod is pretty rewarding when you catch fish on it....

I built one of the 1-4oz models and for the price not a bad blank. Ive been pleased with the way its held up for a lighter swim bait set up for what its worth...

I decked out my pond prowler and put a digital minn Kota on the front and two people can stand and cast with no worries. Ore stable than you'd think.

I've had a pair for a while now and love them. They def bring out the colors in things, so much I use them all the time. They are even great in lower light conditions. I think I'm going to snag another pair actually.
