  7. I fish it with 1/8 and 1/4 grenade or drop shot weights on the rear hanger and it makes it slow sink and suspend in some temps. I either slow crawl it on surface. Or medium retrieve with a rip here or there and it dives then settles and floats back up super slow. Have gotten bit on the pause after the rip. I loosened the hooks slots up a little with some needle nose so the hook clicks in but is slightly loose. I did lose a decent fish before I did that due to the hook not coming out and they got leverage Ana threw the bait at the boat
  8. Yeah I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something other than that without them. Like I said I'm actually liking the glide better without them. Someone on fb said it perfect to me. It's like the silencers dulled out the glide to an extent. It cuts back and forth much more sharp and crisp now without them. I'm not worried about the paint to much. I won't ever resell it, so I don't care if it gets scratched up.
  9. *edit: prior with silencers I felt it favored a side. Which I've heard happens sometimes with moms. I feel it's much more fluid now and doesn't seem to hang up on one side or the other.
  10. Thoughts on silencers vs no silencers on the mother. Had one fall off and couldn't find it, so I took the other off. Honestly like the glide better with out them. Discuss. Ps I searched and didn't find and good feed back.
  11. My tail flails all over the place. Mines super flemsy. There's no action in the tapering portion of the tail, it's literally all in paddle. And mine has a very very subtle body roll back and forth. Don't know about boiling it like you would a hudd cuz the tail section is pretty thin. But maybe someone else could chime in.
  12. Got mine from monster other day and absolutely love it. Ran it floating for a day and got a dink then added 1/8th oz drop shot weight to the front hook hanger and it suspends at around 2 ft. Got 3 more small 2 and 3lbers on it yesterday. The drop weight gives it a awesome dive when ripped in shallow water and it noses down like its feeding And the rear hook stays high up in the air. How I got 2 of the 3 bites yesterday, they followed and I ripped it and soon as it nosed down they crushed it from behind. Can't wait for warmer weather this things gonna kill. Super versatile if ya think outside the box with it
  13. Really cool of ya to do that. I'll throw my name in the hat. IN
  14. Looking for a long Lip for the Tiny Klash. They aren't available at monster right now. Cant find them on the bay either. Saw a JDM site with them, but the site's in 100% Japanese and I can't seem to decipher it. To be clear I'm looking for the replacement "long" lip for the tiny klash which replaces stock lip and make's it dive deeper. text is easier 702-328-9316 Thanks, James
  15. I'm alive. ish hit the fan in my home life after my Florida trip in all aspects. Financially. Relationship. Etc etc. Trying to pick the pieces back up and get going again. That's pretty much it. More pressing things currently. So. Soon as I'm able to I will be back at the channel full force. But for the time being I've got to figure out from now to march personally and that's all I'll really say. Thanks for asking and thanks for the kind words guys. Appreciate the support and you guys taking the time to watch the videos and content I put out
  16. Weightless alpha trout 9.5 and 11" are all I've been throwing lately. Insane action for big soft baits and like stated above you can literally creep them over grass beds and basically weight them however you'd like with up or downsizing the hooks. Pretty versatile for what they are. I love em
  17. 867 is a great rod. its tailored more towards treble baits in the 4-6.5oz range. it will throw heavier but feel's pretty labored past 7-8oz. and personally i think it has to much bend for jig hook applications. but thats just me. it's still a super versatile rod weight wise i've thrown down to 2oz on it.
  18. 13 fishings muse black 4-8oz throws exactly what it says it will. and all the way down to 2oz with no problems. scheduled to hit tackle warehouse Jan. 13th. if not that then keep your eye's peeled for ben's next release of white label's and get a xh and it'll throw probably 90% of the baits you'd want to throw. both rod's extremely versatile and worth every penny.s
