I thought I'd share a find I made. I have been looking around for a good "inexpensive" SB rod that I could throw in my truck, hit lakes before/after work and not have to worry about damaging my nice ones. My search led me to Denali Bottom Feeder "catfish" rod. They make several weights I bought a 7'6" MH rated at 3-5 oz and a 8' H Rated 5-8 (I think) Anyways they are E Glass, like a crank rod with quite a bit of action and a good amount of tip. They are surprisingly light weight! The best part, I found them on EBay for $60 SHIPPED! I figured for that money I'd try them. Disclaimer I have nothing to do with Denali Rods... So this isn't a sales pitch.

On the tail there is a 5 at the top, a HUDD sign, and 12 at the bottom. Some are marked out while others are not. I am guessing the hot knife mark marks which one and no mark is a 0?

I started throwing hudds late last year. This winter I have spent alot of time gathering up a box full for the coming year. Is there a way to tell which ones are rof 0,5,12. I am sure I'll figure them all out once the ice thaws but was wondering if there were any specific markings? Thanks
