Its funny, most of you guys have deps 250s and a $400 rod setup but arent willing to pay $100 for a good pair of glasses

I was actually able to nearly replicate the johnny rat jr, it is about 1 oz and 5 in w/o tail

You may be able to get an alabama rig and cut off a few of the wires, it will probably be 8 oz by the time you are done though

Ok thank you i was using loctite 5 min epoxy and screwed up a hula popper i was testing it on, i will order some devcon 2 ton

Here is a rat ive been working on for about a week, this is my first homemade swimbait, i first went to a woodcarver i know and hand himsketch out a pattern and make blanks for me out of jelutang and red ceadar, then i carved it off by hand, then i sanded it, made joint, attached eyelets and still needs a bill, what do you guys think of it, does it need weights?

Nothing popped up for me, i have a similar question, i was clear coating with 5 min epoxy and it dried before i was able to finish it and it had a horrible texture with bumps and spots, is there a thinner or somethibg i can add to make it spread easier

This is a mini johnny rat look alike, 5 inches long, lighter than i wanted and i still have to put the bill on. It is made out of red cedar

Hi, I recently took interest in homemade swimbait lures when i started making a rat. I would like to see what kind of handcrafted lures you all have, they can be made by yourself or someome else as long as they are not factory mass produced, im looking forward to pictures!
