  1. Been using the Tatula HD on my 795 for a little while now and for 4oz and less, it's a pretty sweet setup. Balance is good with the reel and rod and I can fit enough 20lb fluoro on it to cast as far as I feel comfortable without worrying about spooling myself. I will swap the reel over to the Fury 806 since I have one on the way now that TW has them available. I'll put out a review of the rod once I take it down to FL for a trip to hopefully smash some biguns.
  2. Where are you guys seeing the fish bedding at depth wise? I am planning a trip home next week and am doing the required contour map planning. I am assuming the pre-spawners are hanging out in ~8-10 ft of water off the spawning flats. That sound about right to what you guys are seeing?
  3. GSU, how are the water temps looking down there? I am from the Tampa area originally and will be swinging down to visit for a week. My buddy and I are planning a day on the water but haven't decided on where to go yet. I am considering making a drive south to fish Okeechobee for my first time if the temps are looking right to get a good one on the line.
  4. I'm down for the two weedless 68s if you split... depending on asking price of course.
  5. I'm interested in a review if you end up getting one.
  6. Text me some pics. Have PayPal ready if they are what I'm looking for. 813 six two five 0972
  7. Is that $25 shipped on the hudd? Pm me if so.
  8. How is it compared to the lure weight rating? Over/under, spot on?
  9. I use the scotty anchor lock on my canoe but it was originally designed for a yak. Works like a charm. Get two if it's really windy. http://www.austinkayak.com/subcategory/214002/Anchors-Stakes-Trolleys-&-Chutes
  10. Considering this for my bigger bait/Hudd rod. Looking for first hand experiences, good or bad. Can it handle lower weight baits and is it overrated for the heavy stuff? Any quality issues? Thanks, Will
  11. I have the Fury 795 and I've thrown up to 4.5 oz on it. I wasn't bombing but it lob casted nicely. Softer tip makes me wonder if it will slam home the hook on a weedless hudd or not but time will tell. I'm not comfortable going any bigger than 4.5oz so I'm looking for a second rod to handle bigger baits and jig hooked stuff.
  12. Got the bait in today. Everything is exactly as you said and it was padded very well in the box. She is already tied on the rod and will be hitting the water tomorrow. Thanks again brother.
  13. Thanks for the Hudd bro. Got from CA to NC in 2 days. I'll have it in the water tomorrow.

Bought a Hudd from Heith. He was accurate in the description, communicated well, and shipped quickly. I won't hesitate to deal with him again.

Bought a glide bait from George. He was honest with the condition, good on price, and had excellent communication. Shipped it quick as well. I won't hesitate to deal with him again.
  16. Anyone get the 806 Fury yet and can provide a quick first look type review?
  17. No worries man. I'll prob TW it. I forgot that they do 10% for mil/vets. Knocks off a few bucks. I assume from the numerous sets you have that you are a fan. Any issues with them?
  18. I apologize. I am looking for the larger sized, double knob handle, likes whats on the one in the link below. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Daiwa_Coastal_200HS_Casting_Reels/descpage-DC.html
