    Strictly based on night fishing for me. Blacker the night the better. I tend to have horrible nights around the Full Moon. Couple days either side of the New Moon i seem to do well. The fish seem more active.

    1. Not a big bait by any means but a Crawler bait gets the job done. I got into a couple good open water bites this summer. Called them up over 20 ft / 30 fow. Not just for shallow water applications. Its been my go to for river smallies also. 2. Rat with a loud knock. WSB and a Spro 50 come to mind.

    Nope. T.R. Custom makes a sweet Musky creeper. Do Not buy the new HI Fin creeper that is being sold. Complete junk. Just won't crawl correctly.

    Wake baits at night till ice in. 29 degree air temps this morning. Managed to get three bass before work this morning (4 a.m.) i also believe this time of year after sunset would be better because the water will be warmer at that time and not have time to cool down some overnight. Water temp definitely plays a factor. Even a couple degrees
