What gear ratio for wake bait's? Slammer/rats

When your fishing a Wake that can be cranked down and burned across the top of grass, it’s nice to have that extra controlled speed of a higher gear ratio. But when your creeping the Big Wake Rats etc. being able to slow roll the handle in a steady motion is nice. So just depends on what your going to do most. But you can make 8:1 and 5:1 work the same with speed control -

Made a Pair of Grey Rocker rats for the instagram shootout 6 tournament raffle. Think they turned out slick. Airbrushed a number 6 in black pearl on the backs.

Got the new edition to the Stray Rats Family almost buttoned up. The "Rumble Rat" is a beast ready for battle. 5oz with Owner 2/0 st-36's and Hyperwire #7's with .92 ss screw eyes and a thick lip. recessed screw locked tail. Still need to Finnish it up and paint it, but for the most part its dialed in.

Seen a AC Minnow at a local tackle shop, bought it and tied it on an old abu round reel and ugly stick i used for stripers then seen some big followers and was hooked. Bought a 8' lunker punker then the Big Bait Posse video came out and thats all i could think about....

I've been using the TPC Global Master G233 and G444 kits with their compressor. No big issues yet and they have replacement parts for them if need be. You can score some good deals on ebay and amazon with wicked colors included.
