Hey, check your PMs, but also, keep in mind, a big part of these baits are the versatility. I've caught fish, and good fish, fishing them a bunch of different ways. I prefer lip out, mode b and using either yokoyoko or a glide style method, but have supreme confidence dead walking it as well when weighted to suspend like a jerkbait.

Try crisper inputs. I've had a few that, if I get lazy, will do that. If I stay on them and use very crisp snaps or reel turns, it goes side to side without issue. Just a suggestion, of course.

I can only reiterate the Bull Gill Wake. It's a deadly bait and can wake or crank down about 6". I got bit today on it in a 15 acre lake by a 4-4.
