  1. I’ve got 2 reels for sale 1) Curado K 200XG basically brand new - only used a few times but I don’t have much use for it 2) Curado 300DSV 6.2:1 gear ratio - its in great shape with just some minor cosmetic wear but is very smooth - the only problem with it is that the drag doesn’t work. I got it like that from a buddy of mine and I believe it should be a cheap fix I’m asking 220 or best offer for the pair You can text me at 832-25-5893
  2. FS is a very lightly used Jointed Claw Magnum in the stocker trout color. Only fished once. Asking $90 obo. You can text me at 832-215-5893.
  3. Are you still looking for an OG 175? I have one in metalize bass I would be willing to let go of
  4. I was thinking that or cutting a foam core to fit into the split grip then cover it with x-flock
  5. Thanks for the reply. Im starting to wonder if filling in the split grip somehow and covering the whole thing would be an easier alternative than just removing the handle.
  6. I know this might be a long shot, but does anyone have a LDC MH they would be willing to get rid of? I also have some reels I would be willing to trade for it. If not, I would be interested in other MH rods around the 1-6 range.
  7. Anybody have any advice to lend? I am currently fishing an Okuma guide Select XH, and I am not completely satisfied with the split grip on it. As it is getting into winter, I will be using it more and more for hudd fishing. How much of a hassle would it be to remove the grip and add a full length heat shrink tubing like x-flock? I am thinking about getting a new rod anyways, so I might as well try my hand at this to see if I could surprise myself and do it myself, as I don't have any previous rod building experience. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  8. I'm looking for a Hawgtech handle for a Calcutta 400b, Calcutta 200gtb, or both. If anyone is willing to part ways with one or two let me know. Much appreciated
  9. I have the guide select XH. I'm not overly impressed but it's done it's job so far
  10. More than likely I will be throwing more treble baits. I guess that will give me an excuse to buy bigger hudds to throw on my guide select haha
  11. I've been struggling to figure this out and I thought I'd ask around and get some opinions. Currently I have a Calcutta 400b on an Okuma Guide Select "A" Series rod (XH 2-10 oz) and it seems a little too big for some of my smaller baits like the 6" magdraft, some of my smaller rats, hudd 68, etc. I just recently picked up a Calcutta 200gtb and was just hoping that some of the more experienced guys could give me some input. I don't have any good shops around me that have a good selection of swimbait rods available, so unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to handle different rods. I guess my question is which of the following rods would work best for smaller swimbaits? -Dobyns Fury 795 (1-5 oz) -Megabass Levante Leviathan (3/4-6 oz) -Lamiglass X-11 (1-6 oz) -Phenix M1 (1-6 oz) -Okuma Guide Select (1-6 oz) Any input would be greatly appreciated. Im fairly new to the swimbait game and after catching my 8 lb PB it has be hooked.
  12. Thanks for the input. It's a relatively high pressured lake, but not so much from swimbait era I would imagine. I don't know if I should try to match the hatch or throw some bright, abnormal colors.
  13. I'm relatively new to swimbaits. I have a Deps 175 SS in metalize bass that I have been using as of recently. Im in Texas (lake conroe to be exact) and am having some trouble deciding on whether or not I should stick with 175 or bump it up to the 250. Also have my eye on a 175 hot tiger silent killer and either 175 SS ghost ketabass or Wild carp. For those who don't know the water here is pretty stained down here. I guess my question is that am I on the right path with these bait choices? Any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated. If it helps im throwing on a Okuma Guide Select rated 2-10 oz with a Curado 400b and am not planning on switching my setup anytime soon. And advice would be awesome!
