  9. I'm a big wake fan. I don't like them too thick so hook up ratio is good. The wade hogg is great bait but i throw and have more success with my 2Facewaking baits - you can find Stephen Loewen on FB - multiple 7+ lbers including my 10.5lber. No experience with UFO. https://www.facebook.com/steven.loewen.1
  10. I have a WnC i don't use and i'm near Walnut Creek.
  11. I'm in norcal so it's colder but never hard and what to do been said already but here's recap: - fish slower...hud, glides or big jerk bait. wake not your best bet. - fish deeper (relative to your water)...it's warmer at the bottom - fish will still come up shallow for bait, time of day...look for hard structures/cover I've done poorly in winters but above seems to resonate. I don't throw slow huds but when conditions were right, on a warm winter day, i caught a nice 7.8lber on a Baitsanity glide.
  12. Ping me tomorrow...i'll take a look what i have. I'm also east bay towards Walnut Creek.

    DD Hud eater

Congrats! More details pls especially how you reacted!
  14. I have a wake and regular 7" crank down.
  15. Definitely! Not being a dick here but one was hard enough/a milestone but 3 is just nuts! But i guess when you're on a roll, take it! Secretly now fall is here I wonder if i'll come across a new PB
  16. The bigger fish are moving up but they didn't seem that fat yet. I can only imagine it's going to get better the next couple of months before it gets REALLY cold! Nothing too fancy...i was trying all depths last 4 weeks and were just no finding them. This fish was caught shallow and needed to slow things down a bit ie. put away those multi jointed baits and reach for slower more methodical baits.
  17. I caught my 10.5 in Aug but won't say no to a second DD you bet!
  18. I had he same exact experience...but all changes this weekend. Hopefully it means things gonna get better for everyone!
  19. Been struggling since fall kicked in 3-4 weeks ago but finally figured them out this week. Was happily not getting skunked, and actually catching 2lber+ until this big girl completely surprised me. I knew this lake had big girls but to date my PB here was only 6lbs so I was NOT expecting this. I was initially thinking it was a big cat but when i realised it was a bass holy cow! 9lbs and 25"this is my new lake PB! Hope everyone figures out the tricky 'fall transition' soon! This is my third 9+ in 2019, can't wait to see what rest of fall brings!
  20. i have these regular ones. JDM colours. PM if interested. Used by mint condition.
