Fresh off the dryer. I finally finished this rod for myself. Ive had this blank for over a year now. Finally found time to wrap it. Its a 9' fishing syndicate blank 15-30# cut down 8" from the tip to handle the weight for hudds. My new soft bait jig hook rod. It features a black aluminum alps reel seat. Black eva split grips that i cut and shaped. Acid wrapped with tichrome stainless guides with chameleon inserts. 3 thread throop tiger with 2 pull out. Chevron wrap. Fugi and prowrap thread used on this one. First time using prokote. I usually use flex coat but seems ok for now.

Yes and no! Ive been building rods for about 2 years steady and i think ive only caught like 3 bass at a local wetlands. Maybe its the day or the wrong times idk

Yes i fish multiples and i do see people pulling fish out. Like today i went out on a buddies boat. He caught 4 small ones and 2 decent ones all on a 2.8 keitech with a little ball jig head

I have not for the life of me have been able to get a bite or land a LMB for over a year now. Im throwing tripple trouts, ganteral, thumpertail, hudds, pulse tail, CL8 trout, weedless swimbaits and even finesse style as well. What am i doin wrong. Can anyone give me any intel on what to do to change my approach. Ive even tried traditional from senkos to craws and even drop shot hand pours. Im not getting confidence in myself anymore. Maybe i need more time on the water. Maybe taking a break from building rods and actually putting the time in. I need to do something. I need help. Anything. Haha lol.

I use the lexa 400 and lexa 300. Kastkings kapstan 300 is your bang for the buck reel and handles hudds like a champ at $100 on ebay. Those are my go tos 100% of the time.

I was a regular at puddingstone when i lived closer. It does produce more later in the evening though.

Ive never fished there but i have always wanted to. Thank you for the intel. Thats my next choice when the full moon goes away
