    Shimano Curado 200 DHSV, excellent condition with one tiny blemish you can see in picture. Shimano Curado 200 G6. really no blemishes. Both reels are smooth and have been recently cleaned/lubed.     Yes I understand that. I mean the 8" is heavier than the 6".

    I am starting out and have been advised towards the Fury 795, Guide select or daiwa dx. For the Okuma and daiwa there are different power ratings and I'm not sure which one to go after. I don't have any big baits now but I want to be able to throw a 8" huddleston but also a 6" and smaller baits too. I hear some rods like the Dobyns are overrated on weight. Would it handle the 8"? How about the H okuma (rated to 6oz but I hear otherwise)? Same question for the Daiwa. I would like to only buy one rod for now because the cash flow isn't there. Also if people have other options I'm open to that as well. Thanks!

    Hi just joined the forum today. I am really looking to get into swimbait fishing and have done a good amount of research and youtube watching lol. Looking for suggestions on baits and rods. Just graduated college and subbing as a teacher so only cheaper stuff is helpful. Also I have a musky rod and was wondering if that is ok to throw these baits on for bass? Some things I'm looking to buy are Hudds Line thru trouts 8" BBZ 8" S waver gantarel Thanks for the help. I'm not sure where to post things either so that would be helpful as well.
