I improved on this some more, it's actually fishable now. Got some strong, tiny magnets off Amazon, drilled holes in the bait, and glued the magnets in. I'd like to source some good double hooks for this rig, I don't love how the single st46's look but I'm making progress. Hopefully I can fish it soon, the weather has been ish and the water is chocolate milk...

Here's my take on it so far. Front hook is BB rigged, back hooked is tied to it with black 65lb braid

Found it: Interesting deal, that hook seems a little big, and I don't need that much weight, but this might be worth trying, thanks

Hey fellas, I want to try throwing big baits over brush piles, but am concerned I'm going to get snagged a lot. Are there any reasonably priced top hook glide baits out there? Or I could just keep the glides well above the brush and see if I can draw them out. Or should I just stick to soft baits, especially weedless ones? Thanks for any tips you might share.

I'm really struggling to find much info on the Burrito Baits 7.5" Line Thru Shad. I have a couple and I've thrown them a little bit, but I'd like to hear from some more people on how they've done with em. I'd assume just fish it the exact same way you'd fish a Hudd. Leaving to go throw one right now, I'll post here if I catch anything on it!

Is anyone else watching bassmaster live? A few minutes ago Zaldain tied on some kind of unnamed rodent wake bait. He said it was discontinued and wouldn't say what it was called. I'm sure someone here knows what it is. You can't rewind the live broadcast so I'm not able to get screenshots right now, I'll try to find a clip and update when possible.

I just ordered the largest size (7â€) Williamson surface pro and some jet poppers and popper pros to try out for stripers. These are generally marketed as offshore lures. I’m thinking that the surface pro could be a punker alternative, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Anybody else tried this or something similar? Also, what size trebles do you use on a 7†punker? I might swap out the single hooks

Should i get the “big bait†series or the “a†series in XXH for deps 250s
