Here's a good one for you all! I was suppose to fish with my buddies on a night session, first one showed up. Then 1 1/2 hours later he's ready to go. And my other buddy just got there. So at this point I'm just tired from trying to arrange the ish show fishing meet. Everyone is leaving at this point I make one more cast, a long bomb along a bank with the alpha rat where it's "sometimes" good (basically 1 time a year). Slow 5 minute retrieve and towards the end of the cast *smash* the fish was on!! I'm fighting a biggish fish in inches of water, the mud holding her down. Thought I was going to lose her. I pull her to the bank just as my rat pops out, I jump to catch her before she gets back in and swims away. As I held her, I realized the hero or zero motto is real. Just one more cast and keep grinding even when your about to give up! After a long story here's a beautiful silvery Northern strain Idaho largie! She weighed about 5

I have been throwing the bbz a lot catching dinky fish. Finally got a new rat and it's the alpha rat, a super slow waking rat. Tonight started off choppy windy weather with a clear sky. super bright conditions. I threw the alpha rat no bite, swapped to the bbz cause of the wind and lost a little fish. Then the wind died down and the weather has been cooling down, I went and fished a rocky bank. And after a super slow 7minute retrieve over a suspected biggin spot. I decide to walk the dog to hear a good ole wood clack sound. As I do so, the water erupted 2 feet in front of me. A big bass PULVERIZED the rat and fought like a champion!! I bank flip the fish after a 30second-1minute fight. And she is lively! She makes it hard to remove the trebles, she beats herself up on the bank. fishing on a angled rocky bank isn't easy. So I try to make it fast cause she's whooping her butt. I snap a few pictures. And I put her on the scale over the water. She bounces between 6.02-6.1 and then shook off the scales to swim away! only one picture that wasn't blurry...

Sell me one of those beautiful looking glides!

Lately I have been having a issue with catching fish.... Too many fish... That are 8inches long.... Bbz usually gets me a decent 2-3 lber. Nope not lately. and here's my struggle.

For real, hopefully there will be a October. Need to finally win one of these

The night bite has definitely been working great!

Another good one last night on the bbz again. This one barely touching 4lbs. Hoping to get bigger baits soon! Specifically bigger rats!

Nice chunk here now Idaho! I figured out where they are holding. Some big ones coming soon!
