  1. I put one of the 8" baits on a scale when I first got them before I put a hook in them, and it was a little over two ounces if I remember correctly.
  2. I bought a bunch of these in 7" and 8" a while back when they first went on sale. I get a ton of action out of these things. I rigged the 7" ones on both Jenko's 9/0 jig head and a 10/0 beast hook, and the 8" ones I rigged just on their jig head. Either way seems to work just fine, I tend to use weedless presentations more though.
  3. I'm wondering if any of you have had experience with both of these rods and could tell me which would be a better option for Owner Beast/jig hook baits. Looking to purchase another swimbait rod soon with tax season rolling around, and I'm stuck between these two rods for the money. Being a beginner I'm not yet throwing around baits that weigh more than 4 ounces or so, but I have a Fury 795 right now and it seems those 3-4 oz jig hook baits are just too much for that rod. Thanks y'all!
