  1. I have the 867 and would definitely be someone to recommend it over the 807. I have fished hard treble baits down to to 3oz with it just to see how it would do. While it may be a bit overpowered at that weight, it still got the job done and was not unreasonable. It will load up and launch deps 250s. However, I will say that storage and transport of the 867 is definitely a bit cumbersome. If space is a legitimate concern the 807 should be able to get the job done.
  2. Very nice, is there a rattle in the tiny hi floats like the full size floaters?
  3. Beast, that is a nice Walleye. Outside of this PB how has been your walleye experience with swimbaits? My dad lives near Lake Erie in MI, Ive been trying to get him to try out tossing big baits for Walleye but I havent seen/heard much real world feedback on it?
  4. Well done, I'm originally from MI, yet to go back and have the chance to throw some swimbaits. You get bit alot with big baits up in northern MI?
  5. Also in MA, completely agree with above, slammers are always solid. I get more bites in general on hardbaits, likely a combination of time spent fishing them vs soft baits as well as easier ability to change up action to trigger some bites.
  6. Ill basically second everything that has been said. The 867 is incredibly versatile. Definitely has enough power to use for jig hook hudds, I have fished 8" hudds on it without issues. It can load up and toss a Deps 250 with ease. I have also fished 3oz treble hook glides on it as well just for the sake of testing and while it was a bit over powered, it still was doable. I agree that the sweet spot is probably 5-9oz range. It can toss baits in the 10-13oz range, but you start to feel like it is a bit under powered at that point and I find myself lobbing baits vs. loading up the blank and launching them. Just my 0.02 cents.
