  1. If you get no replies i would order it from PLAT.
  2. I'll take the mattlures wake trout!!!!
  3. Want to buy one of the strong shads in 6" would prefer a slow super slow or medium sink models. Open to others if you have them.
  4. A lot of the high end megabass rods that are rated for heavy applications have small guides. Most use double foot to include the steez XBD and the megabass SRD. Depending on if you plan to run braid to leader will determine how big of ring you need. I love small guides and i fish mostly with HYB or CXX mainline right to lure. Knowing what knot your using and what size of lines will help a lot. Might even tie a few and use a caliper or mic to get the size of your knot would be the best...
  5. Looking to step into a light swim bait setup for mattlures gills and other tremble baits. Was considering this blank for a build due to its length, weight and ratings. 7'6" rod are easy for me to transport but anything longer becomes a real pain. My 8 Footers just suck to move. Its rated for umbrella rigs which is one thing i would like to throw along with 10XD's and smaller treble swimbaits. Also curious if this would make a good hud 68 rod as people say a little slower action is good for that. http://pointblankrods.com/2015/04/27/76/
  6. I am very intrested in this bait and even though i might never find one i would like to know how the people that have fished them like the bait. I live near a lake that has a good perch population and would be looking to get one in the natural pearch color. I love matts products so this one has peaked my curiosity..... Thanks for your time...
  7. Not every day you get to practice that kvd braid hook removal. It works and its video worthy to show your friends on FB
  8. Thanks for the heads up at least. I will keep watching for reports to see if things improve. I might guess there getting re-geared back up and might need some feedback to get dialed back in.
  9. Would you say that even though its the same company that produced the originals that the quality now sucks. I have a NIB 6" wood and was looking to grab an 8 but if there now missing the quality they once had i think i will pass... Seems like they wanted a payday selling at the going rate of 100 bucks and that would be ok if they maintained quality...
  10. First i want to let you all know that i am not that john and i dont even live in the same state..... I have no intention of selling at this point and just building my own collection... Badlands, i guess i got onto that page as it was in its final spin. Met two guys and got some hard gills. The group is now archived and i dont see that changing.... There are good and bad people out there and i always feel until i have had several transactions with the same person i will just pay the 3% so i am protected. Happy swim baiting all.
  11. If you get a storm in the smaller ponds i fish a lot they will stage to get the incoming food near the inlets. Bigger lakes may be different as i dont frequent them as much in the winter.
  12. Win grips are made to do just what your asking. They have how to video on mud hole and youtube
  13. With how popular the 68 is I have no idea why up tail sized baits are not a thing yet. Don't know if the gill will be stable but love the idea. Like to see some short swim clips
  14. So if your fishing a glide during the winter are you letting it sink to the bottom and the slow rolling or using a floater?
