Looking to step into a light swim bait setup for mattlures gills and other tremble baits. Was considering this blank for a build due to its length, weight and ratings. 7'6" rod are easy for me to transport but anything longer becomes a real pain. My 8 Footers just suck to move. Its rated for umbrella rigs which is one thing i would like to throw along with 10XD's and smaller treble swimbaits. Also curious if this would make a good hud 68 rod as people say a little slower action is good for that. http://pointblankrods.com/2015/04/27/76/
