  1. Hi. AS A canadian fellow, best way is just to cast and retrieve. Use different speeds like you would with other baits. Tacticsl Bassin as a wakebait video you can find on their website that also shows a walk the dog technique.
  2. Yep. Here in Canada, bass fishing season is always closed from April1 to June 15. Cannot fish the prespawn and spawn. Goodluck!
  3. Unfortunately, value has nothing to do with cost. Companies like individuals will sell for the highest price they can get for goods or services.Nobody that has paid a TK $80 at the time will sell it at that price. Same applies to companies.
  4. Filling the rash with a red sharpie is a great idea. Looks good!
  5. I know my question is off topic but can someone let me know the differences in action between a Gremlin Glide and a Legrady Shortcake Glide? They look really similar.
  6. I bought some gills last fall and they were 15$ for two. The info you received is exact. 20 $ is a pretty good deal considering shipping and that the baits are currently sold out.
  7. Good stuff! Thank you for sharing. If you have some spare time would be curious to see the action in the water.
  8. Can't praise enough the Dobyns Champion 795 SB. Especially if you can find the "Mike Long" edition (yeah I know but such a great rod). Overall great mix of responsive tip, great backbone and parabolic action. The tip is great for larger walk the dog baits. Rated 1-5oz but more 1/2 to 3oz in reality. Great for glide baits, Arig and soft swimbaits. I have used Expride, Zodias, Legend Extreme, KISTLER HELIUM3 AND ZBONE, Powell Max and Endurance, Megabass Levante and Destroyer, etc. And this is my overall favortie rod to throw (surprisingly 2nd is the Zodias but for more traditional techniques). This model also exist in the more affordable Fury line. Did not try it so can't compare Never gone the GLoomis route but tried E6X and did not like them.
  9. Hello dear swimbaiters, Looking to upgrade my handles on two of my 200 size reel (Tatula 200 and Calcutta Conquest 200). I hesitate between 100mm and 108mm handle. I have large hands and throw mostly Arig, soft swimbaits, large topwater and glide baits up to 2.5oz with them. Leaning for the 108mm but will it be an overkill? Looking foward to your thoughts/experiences Thank you
  10. My preference goes to Rising son and Boom Lures. Although Boom Lures have availability problems, the have worked wonderful in all bodies of water all seasons and in all sizes.
  11. Hello

I am interested in your 5inch Triple Trout. I see you are in Australia. Any idea the shipping costs from Australia to Canada? I could make you an offer that would cover up the costs if they are within common sense.

    Thank you

    Patrick

  12. Hello, Not sure if this bait is new in Japan but seems to have just arrived in the US. Looks great and as versatile as the DRT Klash. If someone tries it, please let us know your observatiosn.
  13. I have the 300 with power handle Winn grip. Great budget reel. Only downside is with time, sometimes the "lever" to cast does not stay down while casting. I have read on forums others experiencing the same thing. Take your time to shop around, you can find nice discount from mrsp.
  14. Content de voir un montréalais sur le site. Good luck with your sale.
