  1. I have one coming and was thinking about dying the tail either blue or chartreuse. To make it look more natural.
  2. I just ordered myself a 6” bullgill hopefully it works as good for me as it does you.
  3. I just bought 6 u2 hammer tail gills and they all swim on one one side. Unfortunately I don’t think they are going to work since I won’t have the confidence in them to really use them.
  4. To bad okuma stopped making the nomad I have the 1-4 oz and it’s awesome for the money.
  5. I already glued it on I want to fish the bait. I need to learn it better I can’t seem to hook a bass on it for the life of me. It gets hit and followed. But I’ve yet to land one. Maybe I should just start cat fishing the river with it LOL.
  6. Thank you I couldn’t get that exact glue so I had to use this. It seems to be attached very good.
  7. I stopped by a little 1 acre pond I fish and this 12 lb cat crushed the strong shad. I thought I had a giant bass at first. On a side note my tail came out of my shad do I just use regular super glue to glue it back in? Thanks Jason
  8. Also does anyone know what size hooks are on the 6”
  9. I tried mine out today 6” model. And anything over a moderate speed it rolls to one side I tried with a decoy snap and direct tie. I did have two little ones swipe at it but I’m just reeling it in on a steady retrieve. Any tips would be appreciated. thanks.
  10. The bass pro crankin stick 7’3 heavy it’s rated up to 2 oz . $79.99 I've been using this rod for a couple season’s and it’s actually very nice. I use it for G2 shell crackers . 7” slammers 6” strong shad etc. It’s actually pretty light in hand and pairs perfect with a tatula 200. It’s definitely worth a look if on a budget.
  11. I’ve been using suffix siege for my mono I switched from big game. I think it lays on the spool better and has less memory.
  12. Thank you I’m only got to use it for up to 2 oz baits. I really like suffix siege line so that’s what I’m going with in 17lb . Can’t wait to get it and try it out.
  13. How did it do with the 20 lb I have one coming and was thinking about 17 lb line.
  14. I have a yak I hated fishing out of it so I bought a pelican Bass Raider 10e and I love it. And it’s just as easy to load in my truck for me and I can use a trolling motor.
  15. The tackle trap. http://tackletrap.com/index.php?main_page=document_general_info&cPath=2176&products_id=9885
  16. Two of my hammer tails are swimming on their side I have them tied directly both new out of package.Does anyone use a snap or split ring. Or should I try to bend the line tie.
  17. You cast it off within the first 5 minutes. It was completely my fault I got some hammer tail u2 baits and casted my crappie off. It was swimming to one side and when I bent the line tie I must have damaged my line I should have known better. Oh well it sucked as that was the only bait I brought with me but I ordered a few more when I got home.
  18. If it was me I’d go with black
  19. This is a bullshad my friend painted for me. The picture doesn’t do it justice.
  20. Yes this it’s my first hard bait from this maker. I see your point with the hooks .
  21. Yea I hear what you are saying. I might have jumped the gun with my post but it’s posted. And it’s really not that harsh If anything maybe someone else that gets one will read this and know they might have to remove some resin for the hook hanger to operate properly. What’s not fair telling people it has dull hooks and a hook hanger buried in resin.
