This pretty much sums up today. Haha i went to Los Vaqueros today. Didn’t mind the rain but the wind kept the boats off the water so i fished the banks on the south east side of the reservoir. Nada. I drove up to the north side and fished the steps. It was my first time here so kind of shooting in the dark. Had one 3lber follow my swimabait to shore but that was it. cant wait to check out the lake when the waters warmer and on a boat. Fish count for the day, a big fat zero. And lost two hudds too so that freaking sucks.

Hey SU, Not sure this is the best place but has anyone removed ALL the paint from a deps 250 cover? I know there’s videos of a guy who uses acetone to remove some but not sure if that would work on all colors. ( Im looking to make a completely translucent deps. Or if there’s a factory color way that might be the closest please let me know. Thanks!

Yeah bro sorry i didn’t see your message till I was heading home. I was there right at 630 and rented a skiff but nada. Visibility was pretty bad so that didn’t help the glide fishing. Had a a short strike on a hudd but didn’t stick em. It still Felt good to get out there though. Depending on the wind tomorrow maybe I’ll brave the weather and sling some baits.

Im gonna try to make it out tomorrow to San Pablo Resi for a few hours and then go into work for a half day haha

Anyone else dust off their rods now that duck season is over? I had an amazing season here in California. Not that I slayed 100 ducks but shot my first band and learned so much. Can’t wait for next season! some advice for those of you who love fishing and haven’t hunted... don’t do it. It’ll ruin fishing for you. I’ve already lost two swimbaits because I was watching ducks fly over my head while fishing. Swimbaits sank, end of story. If you know, you know. anyways, back in the swimbait game for 9 months to ease the pain. Tight lines and shoot straight.

Any Bay Area anglers wanna hook up and chase some bass this weekend? I’m thinking of skipping work on Friday and heading to Lake Chabot. Depending on the bite, might do round two on Saturday.
