  1. I’m going to be in Omaha NE for work for three weeks. I’m down to drive far af to get on one of these bucket list fish. I see some stuff in Minnesota like 8 hours away that I might book but if y’all have any recommendations I’d love to hear it. Also gonna be fishing the Omaha area after work on the weekdays, so if y’all have any help with that, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m just a kook saltwater guy but excited to explore some new water.
  2. Got my PB salty striper in the back bay The fish went 10.5 pounds Rod: Megabass levante leviathan Reel: Abu Garcia beast 40 Line: 65lb powerpro/ 40lb drt hard nylon
  3. Great fish! The brag mat and swimsuit color coordination is too good.
  4. Fan casting and moving around a lot helps. Usually I am casting parallel to the bank and banging as much rock as possible. Pausing the bait when it makes contact with anything and praying it floats out of there. Mix up the cadence and add lots of pauses in between. The bite happens on the pause more times than not.
  5. Fished some super dirty water this morning and found a dirty little bass.

Dang whoever took that pic is probably super cool
  7. Don't fame shame that fish, it's beautiful!
  8. I can't wait for the water to warm up a bit!
  9. That's what I usually replace all my hooks with, and changed them as soon as I got home. This was my first time swimming that bait and I was deep in the harbor, fully not expecting to hook anything "big"
  10. I was playing with some new baits trying to trick a spottie at sunset and hooked into a fish I have wanted to get for a long time. Ripped drag, tried to get me into a piling and splashed around quite a bit on the surface. It really got the heart going, so now I am obsessed with these guys. I didn't realize but it bent out the stock hooks and split ring on the bait...
  11. great fish what are you using to blur background?
