  1. I don’t fish braid to leader anymore, but I had good luck running the FG knot. Now I just back my reels with braid and use the FG knot to tie on my main line.
  2. Haha nice! I’m just the opposite, I have never heard of a TN knot but I’ve heard of the AG chain knot and I watched the video on how to tie it and couldn’t find the difference lol
  3. What is the difference between the AG chain knot and TN knot?
  4. I fish 20# FC sniper and haven’t had any problems or reasons to switch it up.
  5. I didn’t have much time to fish as it turns out but I was able to hook up on a little one. I had to stretch my arm out for the photo
  6. I have a yeti 20 and an Orca 40 they are nearly the same thing. I like hard coolers personally. You can sit, stand and strap them down. Both the yeti 20 and Orca 40 fit perfectly at the front of my bass boat. I have an older 1978 Glasstron that doesn’t have a flat front deck and I use the coolers as a step. I also throw them in the bed of the Rockcrawler and let parts and junk crash into them all day. Sometimes they just go for a ride in the bed of the pick up. The Orca is made in the USA and has a really good lid seal. If you change elevation you have to open the drain to pop the lid. I never had that with the Yeti. Im not a fan of the whale tail lid pulls but whatever its a cooler. Both coolers were gifts so I didn’t chose them either.
  7. That would be awesome! I appreciate it!
  8. I didn’t have much time to fish with my turn but I hooked up on this little one
  9. I have had really good luck using the STX-45s on baits with a thin profile
  10. Wade Hoggs and Micro Mink
  11. Are there limitations to rigging or do you have to fish it “as is” out of the package?
  12. I have 2 of the four pocket SU wraps, 1 SU union bait wrap and 1 SU single bait wrap. All of them are awesome. I also have the Plano wrap and it works great too. I use hook covers to keep the hooks from snagging the wraps
  13. Get a backpack, get a bait wrap, throw about five or six baits in it. Throw in your scale, your measuring board, line cutters, lure retriever, pliers, split ring pliers, heavy duty cutters in case you need to cut a hook and go beat the bank
  14. A very similar instance happen to one of my friends on an off-road forum. They ran a public records check on the guy and found out his criminal history. It turns out he was on probation. They called his local PD and found out who his probation officer was. The situation was it was resolved very quickly lol
  15. 30 IPT has been my favorite all around
  16. Just wondering if anyone on here is found a good solution for covering the decoy quad hooks. The thread that I linked here is super cool but I don’t have access to a 3-D printer so it doesn’t help me much. I keep my baits and wraps I don’t like them being snagged up all the time. Just wondering what everybody else is doing?
  17. I don’t have experience with any other Hinkle trout so I really can’t say. Maybe something to consider is that my Hinkle Trout was one of the blanks. I painted it myself with just rattle cans, I wouldn’t be surprised if I overdid it and change the ballast to the bait.
  18. I had a pretty similar experience with my HinkleTrout. I test swam mine with the stock hardware and mine was a SS. I’m not a fan of the cutting points so I knew I was going to take them off. I think at about the same time I had watched the video Mike Gilbert posted about downsizing your hardware to get more bites. I ended up throwing on 1/0 ST-36’s using the stock split rings. Mine kind of did the same thing where it would almost float, kind of suspend but you could change the depth that it was at with your rod tip. I was throwing mine on 25# Big Game.
  19. There is tons of information on this site. Read the Stickys at the top of the page, use the search function, lurk around on here for a while and will find what your looking for
