  1. Watch some of butches c2c. Slow winds and then speed it up. slow back down. speed up. There are many things you can do. See what the fish want. All I can tell you is spend time with the bait. Learn it enough to the point you can close your eyes and imagine exactly what it's doing. Fish it, fish it, and fish it some more. You will find what works for your fish.
  2. 20lb abrazx and let your line sink too. Wait a few seconds after the bait hits the bottom.
  3. Well, I forgot about the handicaps. I think you are right if it was caught in Mississippi. 2lb handicap for a 18lb state record seems crazy when South Dakota has a 3lb handicap for a record half the size. I guess rules are rules! Shooting for that wildcard spot for the battle of underground now.
  4. I fish off of an anchor on a glass boat! There is nothing better than having control over every aspect of your retrieve. Also check out the power pole ultra lite spike. It is a self deployable power pole for shallow water.
  5. Won’t be disappointed in this rod. Perfect fit for what you’re throwing.
  6. CXX and don't look back. Abrazx is the best if you are retying consistently. CXX is some of the best stuff out there. 0 issues with big fish.
  7. Retie often and you won't have issues.
