  1. Ahhh, my bad. Thanks for clearing that up.
  2. He started replying to the youtube comments on the video. Just a lot of your mom jokes and saying how bad ass he is that he can snag big bass all the time. Just not giving a rip. I don't get what he is trying to do, just making himself look worse.
  3. Looks like them. You can order straight from their website here: http://smoothdrag.com/ It's a little awkward and old school. But you can call them to place your order and they send you an invoice to pay, or you can email them, and they will respond with an invoice. If you are unsure of what you need you give them the make and model of your reel and they will let you know if they have what you need. Their customer service is good. They do keep pretty tight business hours, so if you call a little late it might be best to email. Might be a good idea to open the reel up first, you never know if you will find you might need to replace a metal washer or something as well. Just before you order, that way you are getting everything you need first shot.
  4. Right? hah. I have been bass fishing for a few years now but not really seriously, couple times a month is all. Fishing saltwater for about 10 and pretty seriously the last 4-5 years. Have purposely avoided swimbaits cause I didn't think I would have time (or money) to dedicate to it. Of course I go and stick a good one my first time out and get myself all fired up about it. Wife is gonna be pissed.
  5. Figured out how to upload a video...here is one of the release. Thanks again all. Been browsing and there is so much good info here, hope to feed the addiction.
  6. 1st post, sorry if i screw it up somehow. A friend took me swimbait fishing for my first time. He recommended I pick up a s-wave 200 glide bait as he had been getting bit on it where he was taking me fishing. The shop only had the 168 and he said they really wanted that larger profile. They had a savage gear glide swimmer 205, and the $22 price tag was nice so I picked that up. The fish blew up at my feet in a foot of water 3 different casts, even lazily swimming away along shore the second time. Finally stuck it the 4th time and ended up being my PB 100%. Sadly no scale (of course), but my previous PB went 5.2 and this fish crushed it by length and width. The two guys I was with have caught multiple 8s and 10s and called it a healthy 6. But I will just have to catch and weigh some more to get an idea. Not a monster by any means but man was it fun with those blow ups leading up to sticking it. Just what I need, another addiction.
