The Blackjack is an awesome rod and I throw a 250 on it with no problems. I paired it with a Daiwa Z2020. Great pairing for what I throw on that rod.

Thanks for the link. I have the same reel and the washer hex washer did not fit the Varial handle. I had to use a dremel. Gonna buy a new washer now -
