Bassjak painted gill pattern BNIB. Beautiful bait, had plans to throw it but got a new job and moved and never got around to getting a heavier setup to throw the bigger baits and realized I probably won't be any time soon. Never even been tied on. Just trying to get back what I paid. $300

I don't get why people lie about stuff like this. Whenever someone is caught its just so shameful. How is that worth the risk? Be honest and put the time in and it will come. People talk, things won't add up, and people will put it together. You're gonna get caught. Then any real time you put on the water means nothing to anybody because you lost all the trust the community had for you. It's just such a stupid thing to do and I can't believe how many dudes do this and get caught. I know not everyone has been caught but it's gonna catch up one day. You think lying is going to help your chances of getting a big one? That's bad mojo. -

Making stencils out of plastic is good too because then you can see through it which helps with alignment. Thin plastic like from packaging.

Dude I had a custom f5 come broken in half, and then had a broken expride come in from tw. So I returned it and the next one came broken as well. 3rd one is holding up haha

I mean let's be honest. If you catch a fish on.. Let's say... A phoney shad glide. If you threw a hinkle or a hph or a kgb etc. would they have still bit? I think probably. I'm sure the different actions have something to do with it but I think the timing and retrieve and positioning and all that have a lot more value. Not that the bait doesn't matter but the angler is the one who needs to make it work. Seems like a lot of hype baits get fished more so there's an illusion of them working better than others. Of course sometimes the bait makes the difference but in my opinion, there are so many variables that one wake bait vs the other or one glide vs the other isn't as important as what you are doing with the bait. I hope that makes sense, it's beer o'clock good topic

I feel like you will do the most damage on the baits you throw the most. Unless it's absolute garbage, the baits you throw most will get you the most bites. The more bites you get on a bait the more you throw it, which grows your confidence and you end up throwing it more. So I keep it simple. I like to buy nice baits but I tend to throw the ones that work for me the most.
