  1. Yeah throwing more baits is probably the most important part right now getting into it not having 4 rods for separate weights
  2. Thank you so much I feel that I could get away throwing 1.5 oz up on the 806 even if it’s not as well suited as the 795 just because it can throw heavier lures much more comfortably and leave room to go up heavier over time. Then having to upgrade and not go in between rods. Just go from the do it all medium baits to the big big rod.
  3. Yes the champion is a better blank with better guides. I’ve never tried the champion but I’ve used the fury in my normal bass gear
  4. I was thinking curado fury for my first rod. Then if I get into the bigger bigger baits you with a tranx champion. Do the champions make that much of a difference over the furys?
  5. I was thinking the 6:6:1 of the curado would be perfect for what I would be doing. I’m not sure about saltwater. But you make a good point that the tranx can do it. And it has the power handle.
  6. You think the shimanos wouldnt be worth it on that rod?
  7. I think ill go up to the 806 and maybe get a big cranking rod for small trebel hook baits.
  8. Yeah i saw that they throw it on a big cranking rod. I'll probably go with the 806 thanks for all the help and ill just stick to the medium glides for now. Probably the same with the gantral jr so ill just go with the swaver 200 and regular gantral
  9. And another question. I have heard and read about the tranx 300 saying it is amazing. But with the recent curado 300 coming out, what would be a better choice. And if tranx power handle or no power handle. Thank you all so much for the help.
  10. Could you still throw the swaver 168 on the 806 or is the rod too overpowered?
  11. Yeah I am trying to look into the future, for now the 795 would fit most needs, but more versatility would be better off i think right now.
  12. Do light baits still fell okay on the 806 between 1 and 2 oz. I cant decide wheter to go fury 795 for small small baits then go champion 807 after or if fury 806 could do most light stuff then go with more of a champion 867.
  13. Yeah i was mostly looking for a rod for small to medium glides with what i have researched they were both good rods. They are so close with ratings it is hard to decide.
  14. Does it feel sturdy still at 3.5 oz or does it feel overloaded?
  15. Yeah i heard the 795 is good for the light treble hook baits but i heard that it was bad for baits over 3 oz
