What do you use for wind/rain forecasts?

Weather channel. Dress appropriately for the conditions and head out. Bad weather can turn into a good bite for sure -

How’s it going SU. Super niche ask here but if anyone has some tails for tackle Kraft native gill glides im looking for some as my two native gills now need tails. I messaged the builder and he was very polite but explained he was slowing production of the bait and didn’t have any tails currently. Thanks for looking!

I fish gamma 25 pound copoly for baits that big. No issues yet.

The man the myth the space cadet. Hell of a fish and hard fought after all the cold and long drives this winter. Stoked for you dude!

Amazing color imo. Love the k9. You’ll catch em on it!

Megadog and real prey 8” wood walker are great options

Thank you! I’m confused by your question tho haha

Yup! The roll lip stays shallower!

Deadwalking with the v tail and roll lip

Honestly man no idea but that pic is of her good side. Obviously a super healthy fish but she definitely got in a fight with a bird or something is my guess

Got my first good one of the year up here in Bassachusetts yesterday out in the rain on the k9. Felt great to get a good bite after a terrible winter. She went 6-3.

I always end up just feeling it out during the day but I make sure I’m throwing it tight to cover and I fish it slower right next to the cover and faster in more open water in general. Along pad lines or grass lines for largemouth and up around any kind of current break for smallies

Ya the k9 has my biggest fish in my home state of Massachusetts but I was deadwalking it so not really a glide. Have definitely caught fish gliding it with the transfer tail but I usually reach for another bait if I’m looking for a glide. The hyper shad I would say is similar to a chad in size and probably action. Its my best bite producer as far as a glide goes for river smallies and largemouth around cover. I fish mine blank so like you’re saying it’s super visual which makes it very fun. If I’m looking for a bite on a glide I pick up the hyper but it’s not produced a giant for me yet like some other glides. More confidence in it than any of my other glides though.

Hyper shad and tackle Kraft native gill are killers. Also have had some luck on the hinkle and hiro 8.5 soft tail
