  1. Hello Everyone! I stumbled upon this reel in my local tackleshop in the Netherlands. After some googling, I found out it was a pretty special/old reel. It has never been used and is complete with the box and everything. I am trying to figure out what it would be worth... Would any of you have a clue as to what this could/would sell at? Thanks!
  2. Hi all, I've used my conquest dc for a couple of weeks now and this morning, whilst reeling I heard a loud click and since then my drag has gone silent. Anyone have expierence this before and how can I fix it/if that's not a good idea, where to get it fixed? Thanks!
  3. You are right. Got myself the longe rhandle and now it feels a lot more powerfull. Bought a Megabass Oshu edition f9 85c for the DC and It's casting the whole range beautifully. Glides are fine but the bigger cranks and blades we use (kinda look like musky lures) don't fish so comfortably on this setup. Luckily I have my heavier and bigger reels for that application. Using pe 3 on my DC. Take care!
  4. Okay! The casting wasn't really the issue with me neither. It's the reeling in, bacause it is a 200 size reel i feel like it can hadle 4 oz stuff but maybe not for long? As in too much strain onnthe gears making them wear to quickly. Might just feel that way because I am still using the "standard" handle.
  5. Up to what size of baits would you throw the antares? I've purchased the conquest 201hg dc but I thinj the max of baits woukd be around 3/4oz range. Can the antares cast bigger stuff comfortably?
  6. How do you like the 120mm goxemus handle? I'm debating between the 100 and the 120mm for my 201dc.
  7. Just received my conquest dc 201hg. I have thrown 5 oz on it, casting is totally fine. But you can feel that the gears don't like baits that heavy. Ofcourse it's only a 200 size reel, so it was to be expected. I think I can use it for baits up to 3.5oz so now I am gonna order a blank to build a nice rod for it ✌
  8. They reel do... Wish they did. All in this colour. Would buy all of them in a heartbeat... Perfect reels for big pike here in Holland. I use the "regular" 301 and 401 calcutta conquests now I love the feel and performance out of them. But I gotta say, hate the gold...
  9. There isn't a direct cut off for casting the lures with any reel, but you probably won't throw 10 oz baits as nicely on the 200 dc as say a 2oz I am talking about reeling in with the reel. As are most other people, when they say what size baits do you throw with that reel. They aren't talking about the throwing itself. It's figure of speech... Also not a bass guy, I am dutch. We don't even have bass here Gonna use it for pike.
  10. They really do... I mean they had the calcutta d in '12 or '13 that were silver. Loved those reels....
  11. Won't you wear the gears out too quck if you go too heavy? I was going to use the dc for 4/5oz, but i'll look for a different option I think.
  12. Is that the swb 806 or the bb 806?
  13. You mind sharung the name of the blank? Is it the tac big bait perhaps?
  14. Up to what size swimbaits do you throw with the conquest dc?
