    Haven’t been able to hit the ponds lately, but stuck this guy on an ROF 5 Hudd! couldn’t get weight but was 24”. postspawn, so probably not even near the 8lb mark. i’d say 4 1/2-5, what do you think? IMG_9870.MP4 FullSizeRender.mov

    I am very certain about the wade frogs being. a great bait around me. i can find the hook sizing on it at all though. i was thinking an 8/0 Beast, but what’re your thoughts?

    does anyone have experience with owner ultra split rings? i am contemplating getting them and putting them on my 6-7” glides.

    i have a smaller shine glide (7 1/4”) and i found that working it like an s-waver works good. slow crawl with those quick half-handle turns. i use a 5:4:1 and it still darts great.

    what split rings would fit anywhere from a 5-7” glide? i’m trying to start a bit smaller so i can gain confidence with my baits. this is my combo with some saltwater baits if you are wondering. 8’ H Daiwa DX and Kastking Kapstan 300 with 50lb Fins Slate Green. want to get a lexa so i can use the lexa in salt and the kapstan in fresh.

    yeah i jsut purchased a baby bull shad in golden shiner. i had a savage gear pulse tail and broke it off on something that i believe was a gator or snook due to fraying on my line.

    i’m a pond fisherman and am stuck in the bank. i fish bodies of water with only bluegill and tilapia as the bait source. what’re some good glides, softbaits, or multi-jointed hardbaitd under $30? thanks in advance.
