  1. I am still playing with it, but can't use it for 6" Citizens. It doesn't have enough tip, and is really frustrating to try and use on the lower end. I last tossed a defiant 210 to test it out and I think it's gonna be good for those heavier baits. I need to try 7" citizens, but haven't gotten around to it. Hopefully this weekend I'll have time to get out and test some more baits on it.
  2. Thanks for the breakdown, I picked one up as well and looking forward to getting it wet this weekend
  3. I have a Victory XHF, powerfull and lite rod, but more in the broomstick realm. It was sold to me as a jig/beast hook rod and I agree, not parabolic at all. Barely loads the tip with 2 Oz, so accuracy sucks at the low end of rating. So far I'm really happy with it for throwing weedless swimbaits.
  4. Looking for 6" citizens, goblin only Thanks
  5. Hey underground, I've looked through the archives and found some good info, but trying to find options for shorter softbait rods to handle 6/0 to 10/0 beast hooks. WCZ stuff mainly. Any 7'2" to 7'4" options out there? I've looked at the Destroyer TS Poker, which seems kind of perfect, but man that's expensive. Thanks
  6. This seasons ride, gonna be a fun one. Just switched to Hobie from a pedal drive. Really impressed so far
  7. I use the same set up as @BigJimmyB but currently have it deployed off the stem. Was easiest way to mount the chute. I do need a trolly option to bow into the wind though. Up here in WA most of our water is deep so stakeout poles or power poles aren't the best option.
