  1. X2 I’ve had this happen with another one of the Savage gear swimbaits, this is what you’ve gotta do to get the line through.
  2. Imagine how far under a dock that would go...
  3. Yup, he’s a stand up guy! He’s sent me ton of conventional stuff, and some bigger stuff that he doesn’t use! Right back at ya! @CCCustoms, @G_hecs13, @HoneyBunches: Send me a pm and some of these baits will make it your way!
  4. I've seen some of those aftermath threads... LOL
  5. Will do, gonna have to wait for some of these lakes to thaw! Thank you! @BigSpirit, I’ll send you a pm tomorrow evening, and once the baits get to me, I’ll send a couple to you! Spreading the love around!
  6. Hahaha, that wouldn’t be very noble. Thank you!
  7. Guys, thank you so much for your generosity! The fishing community is the best! I will throw these baits a ton! I’ll remember this, and I hope to eventually donate some baits to someone else who wants to throw them! I know my fishing partner is going to be really thankful as well!
  8. Also, these baits will be split between me and my tourney fishing partner!
  9. Howdy! First I would like to thank you for putting this opportunity! I would throw the snot out of these baits if I received them! I’ve got a 7’2 SLX heavy, which I use to throw bigger baits and my A rig, that I bought after I saved up some money from my summer job. I’ve thrown some really heavy baits on this rod, and I’ve got no doubt it will work for these baits! These baits would be perfect for the waters in my area! We’ve got lots of bluegill, and some huge shad! I’ve been wanting to get some of these style baits that are up for grabs, but I couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger. Fishing money doesn’t go very far, even with regular baits, so being able to fish some of these baits I probably wouldn’t ever get on my own would be awesome! I do a ton of conventional fishing, I fish high school tourneys, but I’ve been wanting to get into big baits more and more over the past year. I’m am in my Sophomore year of high school, made honor roll last semester with a 4.0, and I do a ton of fishing whenever I can! If you choose someone else, thank you again for the opportunity! I know whoever you choose will catch some giants on these fire baits! - Hayden
  10. If you aren’t able to find any for awhile, you can make your own. It’s pretty simple, if you have the tools. https://www.wired2fish.com/fishing-tips/how-to-make-fishing-rod-sleeves/#slide_9
  11. Awesome gesture! I love it when guys do this, really helps people out. Love the fishing community! Gets baits in the hands of people who don’t have the means to fish them! I’ll nominate @Oly25 almost finished with my high school finals, hang in there!
  12. If I got big into big swimbaits my parents would go crazy. I was lucky enough to receive some swimbaits to get started, and caught a few fish them. I’m more of a conventional lure fisherman, but will throw big baits in the smaller lakes in KC. I fish high school tourneys and not many tourneys are won on big baits here in Kansas. I worked all summer, for $8 an hour doing HVAC to pay for my fishing stuff, as well as continuing to save up for a truck. Get a job, everyone is hiring! Ask for money for B-days and Christmas while you can. All I asked for was 1000 yard spools of Red Label for Christmas. If someone ask you to do a small job, do it. Make money any way you can. Get a job, everyone is hiring! DO NOT tell your parents how much you spent, unless they ask. Buy in store if you can, easier to smuggle tackle into the house, if it isn’t dropped off by UPS. Try and get deals on stuff, always have an eye on the Black Market.
