  1. Alright, somebody sell me a doomrider, haha. Thanks for the the responses, think I'll give some shad a go this season now. Kinda figured that'd be everybody's consensus... more baits and why not give it a shot...
  2. I've always stayed away from throwing (and buying) shad baits, as I've always tried to stick to matching the hatch for the most part. But I've recently been wondering if I'm missing out on some fun baits and good bites because of it. Given we don't have large shad (no gizzards, just tons of small threadfin) here in the motherlode lakes, does anybody throw larger shad baits up here? Or do you guys think it doesn't really matter that those baits don't resemble any local baitfish for the most part and would still get bit well with the right presentations? Not so much talking colors or paint, but larger shad profiles. Thanks yall.
  3. Found what I was after. This community is so dope. Thanks guys.
  4. Preferably in gill patterns, but let me see what you've got. Thanks SU.
  5. She's a brute! Amazing fish man. Now I feel even better about back to back skunks this weekend, haha.
  6. Have you checked out the irod sniper swim? Seems like it checks all the boxes you mentioned.
  7. Having fished both, my impression has been that the sentinel can withstand more abrupt/aggressive/faster input and retrieves, while the doom performs better for wider, smoother, and slower retrieves and presentations. Both are also capable of both approaches though. Just my .02
  8. Check out pro point lures. They make a 8.5" that takes a 12/0. Great baits that I've been happy with.
  9. Maybe just on another type of "aholic" vacation? Hopefully they resurface. Cuz ya know, fishin is hard without the latest shwag!
  10. This model is a 6.3:1 lefty for those asking. Still available.
  11. Trying this again. Need some cash for a drop quick, so this is going cheap. $130 TYD Paypal. Reel in like new condition. 10/10 mechanically and cosmetically. Only used about five times.
  12. My mistake, just realized the new reporting threshold is $5,000, not $6,000.
  13. Looks like the IRS is changing the amount from $500 to $6000 for when you have to report goods and services "income" from payment methods like PayPal. Likely a relief for many on here. Thought I'd pass it along. https://apnews.com/article/irs-venmo-cash-app-treasury-tax-72a78a734967ff49787e209b2e3ca006
