Got a crazy deal on a brand new, never used toro 2 beast 60HS. I usually only fish Shimano reels due to the fact that they have outstanding gearing systems, but I got a deal I couldn't pass on. After fishing the reel for an entire week straight, I can honestly say I am in absolute love and going to change up my entire reel stock. The drag plates are silky smooth as well as the casting performance. When locking the reel down on piling fish, it got the job more than done and to top it off, i'm throwing 6+ ounce baits and I have it paired with a 909H which is plenty required to make sufficient casts. Additionally, with the 6:2:1 gear ratio, at 34" per crank, I am able to twitch the bait with the comfortable paddle handles on the reel like no other. This reel is definitely a must when attempting to improve your swimbait game! However, there is no such thing as the perfect reel, and on part of my own fault, I dropped the reel from 4 feet and the central frame cracked which is made out of plastic so I will have to replace, but I am more than willing to replace it and continue to use this outstanding reel as it was my own fault.
