I normally only post my swimbait fishing content on my Instagram and YouTube channel. But I thought this one would be worthy of being posted here. I've been doing so good on the 9" MS Slammer in the last couple of weeks and now l've caught this beast!! Biggest fish I've caught so far on the slammer and my biggest fish from the bank!! 8 pounds (8.02lbs officially)!! Really excited about this fish! Here’s a picture and cast to catch video of it.

No covid closures this spring so I was able to execute the loose plan I had for attacking my local lakes. Had some good results, in fact quite possibly my best prespawn with swimbaits. Was able to capture most of it on video thankfully so here is some of the highlights from my glide bait bites. Soft bait bites will have their own episodes. Enjoy and as always likes, comments and subs are greatly appreciated.

Was going through some footage and found this. Was slow rolling a 9” soft bait, paused for just a second, and that seemed to be what triggered this 7lber to bite. Didn’t even realize I did it until I played it back. Amazing how such a little change can get em to bite. Don’t mind the crappy video edit, It’s my 1st one, lol IMG_0689.MOV

I am really enjoying throwing crawler baits. The MLW/SU collaboration is what turned me onto the Monka Lure Works baits. They are a lot of fun to throw and despite their size, even smaller fish eat them. Here is a Cast to Catch of the Monka Lure Works / SU FPJ.

No real big ones, but a couple 5s and one just under 4 for my first C2C glide bait video. Hopefully more and bigger fish to come in the near future! A few details about the catches are in the description for anyone who is curious.

Nothing big but wanting to get into editing together more of my footage.
