  1. (Already did a search) So we have a killer inshore striper bite in New Hampshire and this year I would love to throw big glides and swimbaits for these fish. I have never EVER had luck on paddle tail baits in years of rock hopping and beach fishing but apparently they work. Here is the question, I have had problems with freshwater hartbaits becoming useless due to buoyancy and current. How would you add weight to deps 175s and other glides specifically for salt water? Lead tape? Suspend dots? I really don't need to get all new fast sink baits. Thanks. Nothing like catching a 40" fish from shore!
  2. Hi everyone! New to the site. Loving it and lurking on it for a long time. I threw big baits back when I lived in Cali, so not entirely a newbie. Planning on fishing the Intracoastal Waterway near Corpus and South Padre Island. They get an influx of Tarpon, Redfish (by the millions), Speckled Trout, even some Kingfish. Mullet seem to be the prevailing forage fish, so was thinking of maybe some glidebaits or wakebaits that might do the trick. Buddies of mine say they are getting tired of catching the 2-8 # fish, yet they only toss gulps, bass assassins, etc. Small stuff. A typical day out there is like hooking dozens of small fish, then getting railroaded by a big bull that snaps them off. My line of thinking would be to toss bigger baits from the get go. What baits would you guys toss at fish feeding on Mullet? Glides and wakes suggestions. Thanks!
  3. Asking $140 shipped. Starter took a dump on my truck so im trying to move this rod to fix it. Phenix M1 inshore SMX-7'9" HVY. in great shape. all guides are good. some small hook points in the foam on handle but thats about it. this rod has a really stout back bone. i used it for jig hook hudd's and weedless applications where you're using a big owner beast sb hook. and it jam's those hooks right in no prob! i used it for top water stuff also and liked it alot for that as well. price is to your door, shipped in a tube with insurance. And ill ship as soon as payment clears paypal into my acct. FOR FASTER RESPONSE TEXT ME 702-328-9316 sorry the pics are sideways. they won't load right side up for some reason.
