flaswimbaiter
I really HATE gator! I guess I am lucky to get my bait back, but now I have these punctures all the way through to the wood. I know this can cause it to get water logged. Any advice on how I can patch this?

Jeff Winger
You can get a Profumo Custom SST, they are made of redwoood so they won't water log as bad.

CombatWombat
I use epoxy for deep holes and super glue for shallow punctures.

Nufo
A few drops of super glue will keep it from taking on water and get you back on the water. To fill the holes, I'd use some devcon 2 ton epoxy (30 minute). There is also a uv cured clear coat called solorez. Add a few drops and stickin in the sun for 3 minutes and your good to go. $20 bucks for enough solorez to last longer than you will ever need. One of these days I will do a right up or video on wood bait maitence.
