Jscarbr
I’m looking for an NFC blank for an 8oz lipped hard bait. I’m looking at the 869 and 909. I use the Edge SWBR 808 and I think it’s perfect for my Wade Hoggs and similar baits. I need a little more power for my wakes larger than the Wade Hoggs. Anybody out there with experience using/building on these blanks?
Morph808
Jumping into the thread. I'm new to custom rods and NFC blanks. I'm very familiar with Dobyns swimbait rods, so wondering if anyone could point me to any "equivalent" blanks in terms of taper and lure wt rating? DC 806 DC 807 DC 867 DC 908 Thanks! Sean k
When y’all buy the blank who are you sending it to to make finish the rod?

I actually found a rod builder about 30min away from me. He just doesn't do the who IG thing but makes great stuff. I bought the blanks, guides, reel seat, carbon fiber handles, and bits of decorative trim and then delivered it to him to wrap. I eventually bought my own rods wrapping kit, but I'll practice first with using not-so-expensive materials. Sean k
