I’ll check when I get home but it’s a bit longer than what u wanted but it’s u sick rod for TK’s when you want to cover water.
xSoCalBassKingx
I know you’ve tried it but I believe the NFC 806 is the perfect tiny klash rod. I purposely built that rod with a shorter handle for those type of baits. I use that in saltwater for calicos as well with big 7-9” jerkbaits. Try cutting the bottom of the rod 3-5” if you really want that 7’7 length. Great rod for a great price Palu_Au and captainhookset 1

Those blanks are so weird bc some are so parabolic and lovely and then others like the 807 are fast as hell
ikaika
I built a Point Blank 761HM that I love for a TK. Good mod-fast action, lots of power in the butt, and floats in my hand with an 11" rear grip. It's rated 3/4-2 ounces, but originally it was marketed as a 1-4 ounce rating and I think that's probably closer to the truth. Kind of a pricey blank unless you find them on sale, but other than that I have nothing but praise for it. captainhookset
Toro blanco
If you can find one, a DRT Pulse rod is made specifically for the tiny klash. Or try to find the specs and have one custom made just like it. Good luck!

I haven’t heard much about the 805 but I do second you that the 807 is definitely fast compared to the 806 captainhookset

buzzed bait
honestly the irod jr swim is great for anything small where you want a smaller handle like this... that said, i'm throwing the TK on the Leviathan Omega Finesse rod and it's absolutely ideal for the tiny klash! Phil A.
Don't know why people on SU never talk about these rods but Cashion makes some of the best reaction type rods known to mankind, especially for the price. But truthfully, the Icon just come out end of last year I think. It's handle is 12 inches long but might be a touch long for you. It's a 7'8". Rated 1/2 to 3 ounces for this model. It's action is great and really light. It also has the carbon grip that is nice too. Costs $220 and Tacklwarehouse has some now. BUT, if you can find one they make a rod called the Sledge that they may have been discontinued I believe. The handle on it is only 10 inches which was originally made for jigging medium-sized spoons in deep water. It has the same specs as the Icon I mentioned other than the handle length. Model # FS92678 if you choose to try and find one. It costs somewhere between $180 to $200. I'm a short, chunky guy so when I'm using a bait that I may want to manipulate the action this rod doesn't poke me in the stomach. My favorite for small, light baits. captainhookset and IdahoGlide44

Ive been trying to track down a DRT 73 remix with no luck. All of the other rods ive used are either way too long or have way too long of a handle. I don't need a 15" handle to throw a bait that small. Really looking for a rod in the 7'2 to 7'7 range, super lightweight, and a reasonable handle length. And it has to be moderate action for the trebles. If anyone has some ideas, let me know. I've tried Tulula, Raid Japan, Leviathan, NFC customs, power tackle, etc. Still haven't found the right one for me. Cheerio wankers I have thrown it with pretty good success on a phenix feather 77h. The rating is 1/4-2oz so the tiny is at the top of the rating but it is a super light and stealthy TiK rod paired with a curado 150dc. Base of the reel seat to the end of the rod is 10-3/4” Mkel83, captainhookset, buzzed bait and 1 other

Bassmann86
Megabass Valkyrie VKC-74H+, TS77X Casino, F7-76TI White Python, you could also wait for the P5 F7.5-76X Mark 56. I'm currently using a Cookai CK-710EXHC for my TK setup. It’s probably one of the lightest 7’10” rods on the market.
Biggs
I don’t know about super lightweight but your a dad now and you must be making gains by carrying that little man around! My RM Centurion Mind “Breast” handles TKs perfectly in my mind. Also it’s pretty much made for Negotiators and I noticed you’ve been looking to add those. From butt of rod to beginning of reel seat is about 12in. Double footed guides all the way up. Taper is perfect for treble baits, cliche incoming - has enough power to set the hook and the taper to keep ‘em pinned. It kind of sort of reminds me of a more powerful x4 Destruction if you’ve ever used one of those. Actually the x4 Destruction is a nice lighter powered rod that can handle TKs, I used that rod for 2yrs with TKs. Maybe you have an x4 destruction at the back of the rod pile in the basement!!
