Looking for something under $50 that has some nice low and slow action for spotties

I’ve been slinging around small paddle tails on jig heads for a while now in my local harbor. It’s fun, and I love it, but I want to change it up a bit and start targeting some larger spotties. Can anyone recommend a larger swimbait that moves water even when crawling it just above the bottom in about 8-12ft depths? I’m on foot patrol, working the slips mainly. Sometimes making my way out into deeper water on a jetty if the tides right.

Z man makes the mag swims, they are honestly excellent on a slow roll. I think they’re 9” and I’ve fished them on beast hooks as well as jig heads in saltwater

I’ll check it out. Is it made with the same indestructible plastic they usually use? I know those little 3 inch diesel minnows have almost no action when reeling super slow.

I'm assuming your fishing for spotted bay bass and not spotted bass: yunique baits, sudden impact baits, savage gear dragon tail, tiny klash

but you really want a monster spotty, SPJ in like 10-20grams. you'll catch the biggest spotty

Ah ya I guess I should have clarified. Spotted Bay Bass.

SPJ as in Slow Pitch Jigging? I think I have some nice Jigpara blades in my tackle heap somewhere.

Same material which is great for durability, but it has way more action than the smaller z man baits.
