CG_Fishes Posted July 27, 2022 Report Share Posted July 27, 2022 I've always taken advantage of my birthday as an excuse to travel further than I normal would to fish. Living in Syracuse for work I have been missing my fishing spots back home. I decided that I would try a new river float that I've wanted to hit for a while but haven't because it's 10 miles. Today @ThatKidInNY and I made the float. Overall it took us 9 hours from start to finish, and we landed 3 pike and countless smallmouth, all on swimbaits. I caught my first handful of fish on my tiny klash until a smalie ripped the tail out. Overall, an incredible birthday on the water. P.S.
