flyforfish21 Posted September 27, 2013 Report Share Posted September 27, 2013 As far as I know there are no spool available for the cardiff aftermarket. You could always use a JDM counterpart, as they are usually lighter spool. But the performance gain would be minimal. Hawgtech handles as stated are a good option on the cheaper side. Grab some spool bearings, do some polishing, upgrade the drag and fish away. For such a lower end reel, I wouldn't expect it to feel refined like a TE or anything.
