Jim137a
I was lucky enough to get my hands on the new 10” Hoog trout - it’s slightly narrower and not as tall as the 9” Hoog but more importantly the joint has been moved back towards the tail a bit - weighs 5.5 oz. The 10” has a tighter swim than the 9” due to the joint being back further and has a nice tighter glide while slow reeling it - perfect for docks, lay downs and other tight cover areas where you want the bait to hang in that strike zone - sink rate is pretty close to an XSS. You can get the bait to glide out by combining by slowly reeling and adding a slow long pull of the rod. Paint is incredible, rotating hook hangers, hardware top notch and the finish perfect I used my nameless custom rods 807 rated at 3 to 8 oz and it was like a match made in heaven - Calcutta Conwuest 401 with 20# izorline. Not sure when Jacob is going to release more of the 10” but I’ll def be grabbing another for a back up. Attached pic shows the differences between the 10” and the 9.5” ( 10” is on top in the photo ) Swimbait508, JustBassinAround916, El_Weruso and 10 others
