Cobro
I just got my DRT TiK in from Sundays drop and noticed some scratches in the paint straight from the box. Just curious if anybody else experienced this? Edited April 12, 2023 by Cobro scojangles
bassbass
Thier paint has never been the best. Go fish it for a couple hours and those marks will blend in nicely with all the others. PKNNH
DRT paint straight sucks. But the lure itself is magic. Go fish it and you'll be do fine. The fish don't care. Jzxmnky, Cobro and BittyRanger
BPayne
My two just arrived on my front porch back home. The wife retrieved the box and set it on my nightstand (hasn’t asked what it is yet thankfully ). I’m in South Korea currently, so I won’t get to inspect mine until this weekend! scojangles, Whammy and BittyRanger
BittyRanger
Couple of my brand new baits had similar scratches, didn’t bother me bc I was going to fish it but I can see some collectors being miffed about it. Cobro
I can attest to the baits catching power. This guy isn’t gonna sit on a shelf though. thx for the feedback BittyRanger
BreadTooShred
Paint marks will blend in with the hook rash you get in 3 cast but they catch still. Lost my pb on one not too long ago and it haunts me to this day still. That mouth was soooo big coming out the water then shook off and now she gone. But that’s the way she goes. SVT THUNDER
As everyone has said…that’s nothing compared to what it will look like after a few casts. From my experience, any of the shiny or foiled colors will come off very easily. The older versions that were solid colors hold up great. Most of those have the plastic colored for the body of the lure and some paint on the back or a bit in the side. But either way, bass don’t care I assure you. Throw that thing and stick some fish. BoatSquirrel
I think that qualifies as a factory defect. You will have to sell it at a greatly reduced price! To me! jp_midwest, BreadTooShred, Akong1014 and 3 others 1
