T Dot Posted December 17, 2013 Report Share Posted December 17, 2013 here is a good one that can hopefully turn things around. ... every time i hit the lake, i greet fellow anglers. this one bright and early morning, i encountered an older angler. i greeted him with a big hello, and proceeded to ask how he was doing. by far this was the best answer i have ever heard. he said, im alive, breathing and the sun is shining - it has to be a good day. i stood still for a moment to really capture what he was saying. i told him - you are absolutely right! from that day on i have i looked at each day from a different perspective. every day i wake up, only i can control how my day goes and try to make the best of things. i try to make it appear (at least to myself) that the glass is half full. i cannot say i can sympathize with what you are going through, but i hope this gives you new light. its hard to imagine, but sometimes even when we are down there are people far worse off.
