I have water temps in the mid 40s right now in NJ so wondering if it will be better suited closer to the spawn when the gills are around shallow. Light rod tip bumps will almost make it stay in one spot. Schooling fish it has been effective, suspended lazy fish it has been effective and also working it around cover since you can keep it right next to it works amazing.
